You can't destroy the form added by AddForm, then rectreate it and try to access. I'll try to fix it in the next release.
-
You can add form by fsGlobalUnit.AddForm only one time.

This should work: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â

FR3 can't handle PDF "images" (the only way to use PDF is TfrxOLEView object).
-
AddForm can be used only one time. You can't remove that form because the AddForm method touchs the class tree.

Alpha stage means that we're doing the internal tests. All features are ready-made. When we translate the documentation to english, we'll start the public beta-testing. Demo based on current version (a8) can be found at http://www.fastreports.n…

FastReport 3 is in alpha-testing now. When it will be ready (hope this summer), we'll publish all features/prices.

Yes, it does.

You have to add CDS class with properties and methods yourself. Look at any *rtti.pas file (also read the documentation about this).

You can check it in the demo at demos\main. Just write the following script: begin Form1.Label2.Caption := 'It works!'; end.
-
Do not call TfsScript.AddForm. Use fsGlobalUnit.AddForm instead. The form can be added one time. begin Form1.Label1.OnClick := @ClickHere; end. procedure ClickHere; begin ShowMessage('You Click!'); end; Yes, it works.
-
You can convert PDF to image (bmp, jpg) and use as a page backgound. FR3 does this.

If MySQL is TDataSet-based, the answer is yes.

Well, I know peoples who use Rave or ReportBuilder. Look at their prices...

wrote: Still, I don't think many existing customer will upgrade to FR3.0 with this pricelevel. Do you think we should drop prices back to $99? Come on, QR4 with prices costs about $250.

Send a demo project to support, we will look at this.
-
Use TfsScript.Variables property to set the variable value and get it after script execution.
-
It should works well in latest version of FS.
-
Works well for me.

Look at demos\prngrid demo.

Yes, it is enabled by default for FR2.52.

FAQ: 2.25. How to pass a value to the report? There are several methods to do this. First is to use global object frVariables (defined in FR_Class unit): frVariables := 10; This code creates a new variable with 'My variable' name and va…

The demo will be published very soon.

It is more than 3.5 times better. Most of bugs are catched during the alpha testing, I hope remained ones will be catched in betas.

When you accessing data fileds, you should use formname.tablename."fieldname" syntax. When accessing properties/methods of dialog components, you should use name of the component, without 'dialogform' prefix.
-
I've little bit confused with prices. I meant Server edition when talking about 'less than $500' price. Current prices/features are: $99 - Basic Edition no sources, no run-time designer, no scripts, no dialog forms $179 - Standard no sources…

Probably you don't have Adobe Acrobat installed? I have and I can insert such objects.
