I thought it was in the help, but it is not. The frxGlobalVariables is a global list of variables. It has the same methods and properties as TfrxReport.Variables (you can learn about this in the help or in the programmer's manual). The only thing is…
-
You have to add the TfrxChartObject from FastReport 4.0 component palette to your Delphi form.
-
The following code should work: if((lastX == -1) && (lastY == -1))
-
Use Memo1.CalcWidth
-
Done, you can download it now.
-
It is not necessary to change tee.inc - recompile.exe does it automatically. To install IBO: - open the frxIBO7.dpk, compile it, do not install. Find the frxIBO7.bpl file (typically in the Delphi\Projects\Bpl) and copyit in the Windows\System32 …

Use recompile.exe: select the TeeChart version, seelct path to tee dcu files, then select "change TeeChart version" and compile.

We going to post changed developer and programmer manual today. User manual is not ready yet.

Unfortunately FR xmlserializer can't store variant properties. They are stored as a string. So you have two options: 1) setup variables each time before run a report 2) use frxGlobalVariables
-
Subreport is displayed on main page. Subreport page properties are ignored.
-
You should go query.Params editor and set up your parameter. Look at "internal datasets/Internal query" report in the frdemo.
-
you should use quotes to pass that variables: frxReport1.Variables := QuotedStr(your_string); another way is to use frxGlobalVariables - they are static and don't require quotes: frxGlobalVariables := your_string;
-
No, you have to remove FR3 before installing FR4.
-
Category is a varaible with space symbol at begin. So you can add categories/variables easily with this code: frxReport1.Variables := Null; frxReport1.Variables := '...'; frxReport1.Variables := '...'; frxReport1.Variables := Null; frxReport1…

Compatibility issues between FastReport 3 and FastReport 4: - v4 uses the same file format, .fr3 and can open v3 files without any problems. Most of new report files also can be opened by v3, but not all. - v4 can read v3 .fp3 files. - New…

Should be ok now.
-
Yes. Unfortunately we haven't updated english doc (user manual, programmer manual, developer manual) yet. It will be ready later.
-
FR4 will be released in a few days - wait for it.
-
Not now - after release.
-
This may happen if you set the Page.DataSet or Report.DataSet to your dataset - FR will print Page several times. To fix this, clear the Page1.DataSet, Page2.DataSet and Report.DataSet, go Page2 and set MasterData.DataSet to your dataset.
-
We don't plan it yet. What kind of version are you interested - CLX, Lazarus? BTW, FR works well under linux + wine...
-
1) fixed 2) it show sql editor for me.
-
What kind of support do you need?
-
I can't do it too, the \ changes to #. But I see the same behavior in MS Word.
-
that unit is in $FR_dir\LIB_Dx (x = your delphi version). Be sure that you have such path in the library path (tools/environment options/library/library path).
-
You can try PSoft barcode (www.psoft.sk). Wrapper is included with FR - frxPBarcode.pas file, just add to your uses list.
-
There is no TMemo.Text property. You should include fs_iformsrtti into your uses list to access TMemo correctly.
