Migrating from FIBPlus to FireDac

We are in the process of migrating our application from FIBPlus to FireDAC (FireBird). When it came to the reports I was hoping it would be a simple matter of editing the XML and doing a search and replace for TfrxFIBQuery and replace with TfrxFDQuery. But it appears it's not a simple as that, it kind of works but we get some access violations. Does anyone have any tips that might help me? I suspect it may have something to do with PropData in the report.

For anyone who finds this thread while planning such a migration: FIBPlus itself has just been updated and is actively maintained again at https://github.com/madorin/fibplus.
- packages for Delphi 10 Seattle up to 13 Florence (including the 64-bit Win64x IDE)
- support for Firebird 3, 4 and 5, including the new data types (BOOLEAN, INT128, NUMERIC/DECIMAL(19..38), DECFLOAT, TIME/TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE)
- wire compression, client-side database encryption keys and many bug fixes
So staying on FIBPlus (and keeping existing FastReport reports working as they are) is a realistic option now.
