"Class exception: Can't find MsChartObject"

Error while testing FastReport.Web with MS Chart in AspNet.Core 3.1.

Preview form the designer works perfectly however, when I call the frx from c# page it generates error.

"Class exception: Can't find MsChartObject"

I have tried to install Microsoft.Chart.Controls (4.7x) and (3.5) nuget packages into the project but not helpful.

Where did I miss? Does this mean FastReport Chart does not support Core 3.1?

Please advice,

Thank you

  • FastReport.Net Core 2 doesn't currently support MSChart.

We currently don't have .Net Core 3 support.

Soon we will add support MSChart with Core 2.

  • Ok, thanks for your fast response. Shall wait for your next version.

  • Any update on this one? I am using .NET core 3.1 and I don't see the error. But the report does not load. Neither in the browser nor in the postman.

Please let me know is there any update.

  • Any fix yet? Was working till I loaded latest fr updates.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
