Printing reports in Windows 1903 requires installation of .net 3.5

Customers of ours have reported that since their upgrade to 1903 they are required to install 3.5 .net in order to print reports. Was this always a requirement or has Windows 1903 introduced some new mechanisme for printing?

  • No, FR VCL doesn't require .net 3.5 for printing

I suspect that, although .net 3.5 is still supported, MS may have disabled that feature during the update to 1903. Try Google.

I believe I had to go to the control panel to turn it back on (for a different program).

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
