FastQueryBuilder

I just bought FastReport Pro and was wondering...

Is FastQueryBuilder still being updated?
Is there any developer documentation?

Yes I finally did. What database engine(BDE,ADO etc) do you use I will make a short video to help.

At the moment I am connecting to an MS Access database (ADO) , using the jet 4 engine (The db has been renamed to db.dat to stop it being opened by the user in Access) I used Access so that I could develop queries easily in the Access package for testing and then copy the sql to delphi.

However I am also developing stuff that uses MS SQL as the backend.

The whole fqb thing seems to me a bit over rated. I'm sure there must be some sort of stand alone tool out there that will allow us to generate an sql query using QBE and then port the sql it generates to the language / environment of our choice.

Anyway, I'd appreciate any help you can offer as at the momont I seem to be spending more time trying to work out how to use these tools than actually using them (and I have a PhD in computing!)

    That's brilliant!
    Thank you so much.
A three minute video taught me more than a whole weekend spent trying to figure it out by trial and error.

    Cheers
