TFrxCrossObject and TFrxCrossDBView Components Missing in Fast Report for Rad Studio XE2

I am using Rad Studio XE2, from the first release I??ve seen that TFrxCrossObject and TFrxCrossDBView Components are missing. Actually I have updated to Update 2.

I have also installed Fast Report (the complete release from the fast report page "fr4_12_1_d16p.exe 2011-11-01 Embarcadero Rad Studio XE 2 "), and those components are also missing, althought in the source code they exist.

I have tried to rebuild the packages, but I get an Access Violation when I am compiling the dclfrx16 package.

The best solution should be to put in Fast Report a new release containing those missing components. Anyone with the same problem?

Did anyone find an answer for this.

I have just Un-installed and re-installed Fast-Reports and still no frxCrossObject.

I have an older version of XE2 (Pre-Servive Pack 1) that has these Components but not the new one.

I looked at the dclfrx16.dpk code and TfrxCrossObject was in following :

{$IFNDEF RAD_ED}
TfrxCrossObject,
($ENDIF}

I took out the {$IFNDEF..$ENDIF} and did a couple of other things so it would compile and now have that component.

Answer for this :

Make sure you have Un-Installed the Embarcadero Version using the Windows Menu - Uninstall Option before trying to Install any other version.
