High CPU usage

We have a Win forms app running in Citrix on Win Server 2008 R2 that uses some Fast Report 4 dot matrix reports. We had migrated from a Citrix on Win Server 2003 environment using Fast Report 4 redistributable (v4.5.1) and in the process we upgraded to Fast Report .Net and the latest redistributable (v4.8.28). Since the migration we have been having high CPU issues and have narrowed it down to the Fast Report DLL: typically it uses 30% to 40% for 2 to 10 seconds to render the reports; for a single user, that doesn't matter, but we typically have 20-50 users on a server, with a certain time of day where they all are printing one or more of these reports; so that much CPU usage by multiple users is unacceptable.

Any alternatives?

Also, I've been looking at converting the .fr3 files to .frx but there's no Dot Matrix report type now, which is a requirement for these reports. Is there a way to create a Dot Matrix report like in the previous version?

Thanks,
Michael

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
