Dot matrix export to text extra spaces

Hi,

I'm using a dot matrix report to export some data in text file (.txt) but after each field (memo) an extra space is added.
When previewed or printed directly to the printer everything is printed ok.
Even when I send the report to a generic text printer and redirect it to a file (printer port settings) the text is again correct.

The problem only appears when I export the report by code or from the preview window.

I'm using version 4.9.6

    Still no reply...

Has anyone any clue why this is happening or how it could be fixed?

Thanks for the reply. I've read the user's manual but there is no specific reference for dot-matrix reports (on maybe I missed it).
It is true that when exporting a graphic report, objects might shift. On the dot-matrix report though, this is not the case since all objects are properly aligned (unless escape characters are used, but again in files we don't use them).

Another issue that came up when trying to solve this by making the objects smaller to remove the extra spaces, was that objects of one character long were eliminated by the output.

It's sounds more like a bug.

I think graphic reports and dot-matrix reports should have different handling when exporting to text files.

    Regards

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
