Visual Studio 2010 - only 2 items in the toolbox
Hello Everyone,
I want to protect my development environment which is on a physical machine (Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit). I just created a new VM (Windows7 Pro-64bit).
I have Visual Studio installed on both of them. I have FR 1.4.12 on the physical machine.
I downloaded and installed FR 1.6.2 (from the FRNet_6_3_Web2010.exe download).
On the VM, the FR tab only shows 2 items: the pointer icon, the web report icon. I have tried resetting the toolbox. Uninstalling and re-installing FR. I have gone through the programmer's manual and put the DLL's in myself. I have searched your forum and NOTHING. I cannot get this thing to work.
There is almost nothing else on the VM other than Java, Adbobe reader, and service packs: no office, no other cool apps, nada.
Please, try not to blame the VM. It is VMware 4.1 (Enterprise Plus on the host) and virtualization should not be an issue. That is my opinion.
I have not seen any good comments on the forum for resolving this as a problem; several threads run dry or are abaondon.
Any other thoughts out there?
Thanks.
