Preview OK, Print with problem

Good morning everyone

I have a client that has an HP LaserJet 1200

This client used in all Windows XP machines, there was not any problem
Currently he is swapping the machines and it came with windows seven

After the switch to the windows seven reports are incomplete according to figure out the link
http://www.prosisw.info/arquivos/imagens/Prosis001.jpg

The same report is printed on a printer to generate a virtual point of sale (CutePDF) and after the PDF is generated
sent to print, the report prints correctly as link
http://www.prosisw.info/arquivos/imagens/Equipamentos.pdf

Another problem is that sometimes when you generate a PDF of the report appears in strange characters
view as the link
http://www.prosisw.info/arquivos/imagens/Prosis.jpg

but these characters are generated the file again does not appear

I have problems in this client, this problem only occurs if the print is sent from a machine with
windows seven, anyone have any explanation for this problem? is it possible to fix it?

For example 1 and 2 my guess is that it has something to to with the available fonts on XP and Win 7. If a font is not found then Windows performs an automatic substitution and you get something which looks very smilar but not the same. Make sure that you use a fonts which is a standard font on both machines, i.e installed by Windows and not e.g. MS Office. Arial and Tahoma are 2 I can think of.

The 3rd example looks to me like some UTF-8, font, and/or code page problem. Can't be of much help here other than make the observation that the header looks fine and the rest of the text not. If the header is not a picture the I would again guess it is a font problem.
Maybe the connection to the database uses the wrong character set, loses it or it gets corrupted. The reason I think it might be that is that fixed text looks ok but variable data is not.

I've encountered such a problem with Windows 7 while working with apps using FastReport. I often make PDF files using different apps and a virtual printer PDFCreator. Those apps do not experiment with fonts - I take what is given deafault by FR.

Sometimes it happens that PDF files made this way have those bushes (strange font) when I open them in Acrobate Reader. When I close AR and open PDF file again sometimes it helps - and that's make me wonder as I really do NOTHING more then reopen PDF file.

Yes I know - the above is NOT any solution, but I did want to share my experience with FR with using typical fonts it offers.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
