SQL Error not reported at runtime.

For EMail Notify

when my report contain an invalid SQL it do show the prosessing page dialog and wait for me to click the Cancel button.

To fix this I replased

DoBuildReport;

with

try
DoBuildReport;
except
on E: exception do begin
FMessage := E.Message;
FinalPass := True;
Terminated := True;
end;
end;

in the procedure
BuildBeforeModal

I also added a privat fariable to the class
FMessage : String
and a public property

ErrMessage : String read FMessage;


Is this the correct thing to do and will it be fixed in future releases.
I am using Fastreports 4.0
