Print vertical document version on each page

edited July 2010 in FastReport 4.0
Hi there,

I've a report with some horizontical bands (groupheader, masterdata, pagefooter). The page format is A4/portrait, I want to print a small vertical text line at the left side of each page containing a version no. of the doc. I've tried the vertical frxHeader band, but it only prints on the first page.
Is there a way to print a text object dynamically on each page using the scripting methods?

Thanks in advance

Try putting a memoview object directly into the page body (not in any band), set its property align = alClient, enable its left frame only (for the vertical line), and finally right-click on it and select "send to back".
If the line is displayed correctly in all pages as you wanted, proceed to make the text vertical as you would, probably you will want to enable just the bottom frame, and change align to alLeft.

if you want the object to appear on every page produced
    use an overlay band.
tip when using overlaybands use largeheight in design mode and place overlay after all other bands.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
