Working with combobox

Hi to all,
this is my first post and I hope someone may help me.
I create a report with a dialogpage with inside a tfrxComboBoxControl
I write thi procedure

procedure DialogPage1OnShow(Sender: TfrxComponent);
begin
ComboBox1.text = 'PIPPO';
end;

but it doesn't work
why???

Don't use this code:

procedure DialogPage1OnShow(Sender: TfrxComponent);
begin
ComboBox1.text = 'PIPPO';
end;

Use this code:

procedure DialogPage1OnShow(Sender: TfrxComponent);
begin
ComboBox1.text := 'PIPPO';
end;
