help with installation instructions please

Just bought FR 4 pro for use with Delphi 2009. I downloaded what I believe are the right files for fR 4, FastQuery Builder, FR VCL etc and ran the installation programs using my keys but it is not very clear what to do next.

The setup instructions for FQB say to "open and compile FQBXX.dpk from ..\FQB\SOURCE" but there is no folder called FQB. After running the installation program I have a folder called C:\Program Files\FastReports\FastReport 4\FastQB that has 9 files that match FQBXX.dpk (with numbers instead of XX) and another called C:\Program Files\FastReports\FastQueryBuilder\source that has 12 matching files.

Which one am I supposed to compile and why do I need all the others?

Picking one package at random (C:\Program Files\FastReports\FastQueryBuilder\source\fqb100.dpk) I get a compile error at line 124 - ambigous overload call to 'StrPas' line 124 - that line contains Result := StrPas(@FileName[1]), maybe thats the wrong package?

Can anybody supply me with step by step instructions on how to get FR 4, Fast Query Builder and the VCL version of fast reports (if I need that as well) nicely sitting on my pallette or whertever they are meant to go. Thanks

(I did have the freeware version of fr4 installed previously and tried to remove it before installing the paid for version but the uninstaller always hung so I manually deleted all the files, folders and reg keys before going through the installation process with my licence keys)

first off you only need to dl the version of fastreport 4 you want either stable or pro daily build
    from your dl page.
all others are included delete any other frx files bpls dcus.
run the fr version installer.exe you downloaded and follow instructions
it is all done for you.

Thank you, I have just tried again with a clean re-install using just the stable fr4 dl. I got all the fr components on the pallet (same as I did last time) but still no sign of the fast query builder application that is supposed to be included in the pro version. The installation did create a folder called FastQB but that had lots of files in , many of which were packages that I belive need compiling before they can be used. But I am still none the wiser regarding which .dpk file I should complile or where I should expect the application to appear. Is it a stand alone application? I bought the pro version especially because it looked like I got a tool to build SQL easily. There seems to be no documentaion about how to install this apart from some that tells me to compile fqbXX.dpk - but which one it doesn't say, neither does it say what I do once I have compiled it. Any help would be appreciated.

when you add a query data object on the data page of a report
select sql when the dialog appears you will find the query builder available
in the dialog menu upperleft corner.
take a look at the main demo internal datasets internal query report.
or do you want to have a version of oqb to work in delphi,

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
