Subreports & Groups

I am trying to use a Group Header & Group Footer in a subreport. But can not because they are disabled. Why?

Because you can't
read docs about subreport restrictions.

I understand the restriction. I do not understand why that limitation is applied. I do hope that in future releases this could be allowed. I believe this would allow for easier report creatation.
