Barcode too wide

I used to use Rave Reports for printing barcode labels. Because the latest version doesn't work with Delphi 2009 I was forced to change to Fast Reports. So far everything has seemed good apart from the barcodes. I used Code128A barcodes in Rave and they fit well on the label but now the exactly same barcodes don't fit with Fast Reports. It seems that Fast Reports uses PSOFT's barcode library and according to PSOFT's site - so does Rave. I searched the forums and found messages talking about WideBarRatio and Zoom settings but if I change them the barcode reader refuses to read them anymore. I noticed in Rave that there is an option called "Optimize" in the Code128 component. PSOFT's site says on the front page that their barcode library supports Code128 optimization. I wonder why isn't this option used in Fast Reports?
