Source code option

edited July 2009 in FastReport .NET
In the professional version of the reporting.net is the full source available for all features of the design tool and the viewer?

there are some significant changes we would most likely make in order for this to work in our environment (being able to report back for audit activities etc. those types of things)

we also would want to be able to extend or modify some of the data bands to look a little more like our other design products, introduce layers etc.

is that possible?

Professional version includes source code of FastReport.dll library. Other two libraries (FastReport.Editor - syntax editor for report script; FastReport.Bars - toolbars, menu, docking) are third-party commercial products, we are not allowed to distribute its sources.

Modifying the band's look is not a problem. I don't know what is "layers" so I can't say whether is it possible or not.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
