DEFINE PRN_RESET also in FR 3 ?

Some time ago i was testing fastreport and i found that with some printer is necessary to uncommet the PRN_RESET define. it's also written in the FR FAQ. Will this be necessary in FR3 ?
I'm interested in find a new report engines for my applications. Now i'm using Quickreport
