can i use the html tags or enter character in the matrix's cell

i m working in asp.net
i m using the matrix and i put the string field on the matrix cell dimension
and it returns the string data joined it s good but i want the enter between string data
if i use the <BR/> tag it works in asp.net
but i wanted the print on the excel
it put <br/> tag
if i use the "\n" character it s good for the windows forms
but not good in asp.net pages it doesnt work it put space character between string data

Use "\r\n" sequence instead of "\n" character.
