Text don't center vertically
I have a memo on the report in which I want to center the text vertically. This works perfect on my HP 4000N Laserjet. But the problem is, that it doesn't work on an Oki 10i laserjet.
It's very strange that it works on 1 printer but not with the other printer.
Does anybody know, how I can solve this problem?

the only thing i can think of is to check if the oki is using the latest drivers available. Can you try it on other printers? if you can't
save as an .frp zip it up and emailit to me, ill try it on canon inkjets

i can't see any thing particulary worng in the frf you posted and of course i cant print from it as i don't have your data.
run a preview and save as a .frp file and post that
ill see how it prints on canon ij

Let me know a specific output page # field name where you get misalignment.

It's right that a lot of memo's are empty.
But the problem is with the memo's with the text:
WEEK 9
WEEK 10
ect....
and
BV
B
R/D
LEV
and
MA
DI
WO
DO
VR
ZA
It prints fine on canon inkjets under w98 wxppro.
is it possible in the setup using the okidata that font substitution is ocurring?

Do you mean that the font is not available on the computer and that windows choose another font?
that is one possibility, the other could be the printer not being allowed to download fonts as needed, usually dm's,but it can be with any printer that has a programmable interface, either through driver or touchpanel on the printer.

here is some info from okidata
10i discontinued 12/31/98 replaced by 12i discontinued 11/30/2000 replaced by
14i discontinued 10/15/2003 replaced b4300.

But do you mean that I must try the driver B4300 with the oki 10i?
"Yes it is an old printer. But first I was printing without a report generator and I have never had any problems." This should be a clue, it was probably using standard block fonts and not scalable true type fonts and being as old as it is there may not be newer drivers for it, particularly if running under xp or 2k.
Check your okidata site and you may find something that will work.
sorry i can't help you out with this one.

In the old program I use:
So this is a TrueType Font.
Or am I thinking wrong?
