Fast Report 4

Hi,

I have IBO 7 and Teechart.

Are there any changes to the install.txt for Fast Report V3 which I should be aware of as I need to recompile?

Unhelpfully the install.txt is deleted when V3 is removed which we have to do to install V4. Have therefore had to reinstall V3 and then delete it after saving the V3 install.txt.

It would be useful to have install.txt included with the V4 distribution

Use recompile.exe: select the TeeChart version, seelct path to tee dcu files, then select "change TeeChart version" and compile.

Thanks Alex,

What are the instructions for including IBO7 as this has not appeared in the FR tab automatically. I ran into FR7.bpl conflict when I tried to compile and install the IB07 component.

Also I think your instructions on Teechart should also include the need to make changes to Tee.inc both in Source and Fastscript folders?

It is not necessary to change tee.inc - recompile.exe does it automatically.

To install IBO:
- open the frxIBO7.dpk, compile it, do not install. Find the frxIBO7.bpl file (typically in the Delphi\Projects\Bpl) and copyit in the Windows\System32 folder.
- open the dclfrxIBO7.dpk, compile it and install.

I try to install Fast.Report.v4.7.181.ent to delphi 2007, I tried the method you said above, but it doesn't work, any thing else I need to notice?
