Richtext difference between Win98 and 2000?

HI.

I have a report definition which uses the Richtext component to display a blob with richtext contents. Al was made on a Win2000 system and no problems were observed.
The first field release shows that the richtext is not parsed on Win98 systems: the richtext appears unformatted which means that the users cannot read it.
I have tried different systems and different printerdrivers, but the problem remains.
Any thoughts (apart from a total upgrade to W2K ;) )?

Thanks,
Johann

try using the Frrxrtf object it requires rxlib but it handles the differences in the MS richedit dll versions better, but also be aware that rtf's created under new versions of msword may not be read correctly by old versions that would be on w98 systems.
    regards ;)

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
