XLS Export without MS Office installed

Hi all,
we have an Intraweb application running in a server where we cannot install MS Office for security reasons. I need to export our reports in Excel, but the FR Export component use DCOM so requieres to install Excel.

Our clients have MS Office 2000, so we cannot export in XML format (it is supported in office xp and 2003). Using html or csv, the reports are showed in internet explorer as text and not as an Excel worksheet (even with the file type set to be opened with Excel).

Is there another way to export the reports in xls without install office on the server? Any idea?

Thanks in advance

Rodrigo

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
