How to improve xls export

Hi,
can anybody share some hints, please, about rules to follow to get best possible xls export ?

For example, the html tags formatting inside of a text object is not exported to xls. Instead using bold style font on the same text object is correctly exported to xls.
Or why the width of the exported xls doesn't fit in the same page width as the FR report fits ?

What are the good rules to follow in order to achieve best possible export results ?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
