Persisting data from dialogs forms

How I can to do this?
So, when the user open the report and the dialog form show to him, he can see your last sets!!!!

One way is to write 2 userfunctions, one to passout current settings when the
forms ok btn is clicked and store in an ini file,one to read data from the ini file
in the dialogforms on activate event.
