ShowDialog on dot-matrix reports

Hello
I experience the following problem:
When i use the Showdialog property on dot matrix reports, the value of the property does not seem to change: remains always true and the dialog always display. (I set the value after report load)
The above problem does not exist if the report is not a dot-matrix report, everything works fine.
Notice i use CB6.
Any suggestions?
