I create my datasets and then when I drag and drop from the data windows
and when I run my report I get the error

supose my dataset field call frxdataset.ven_pk

only works when I asign the dataset to teh propierty of my page But I dont need
this because I get other records that I dont want

Describe how do you do this. If your dataset has UserName property set to say "frxDBDataSet1" and has field "Field1", you should access it as frxDBDataSet1."Field1".
