FastReport 3 Group With GetValue Problems

I am having some problems with the Group band in the new version 3. In my old version I load the reports using the "GetValue" event and filling in the report's values with matching variable names. I could use the variable names in the Group Condition by simply placing the name in the pop-up condition box (i.e. [user_name]). With the new version the "GetValue" process is working fine but I am having alot of trouble assigning a variable name to the Group band. I have attached the error I receive ... please give me some direction on how I can accomplish Grouping using the report loading method that I use.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
