Another problem.
(maybe not a bug, just unable to understand the logic)
1. Place a band on the report.
2. Place a memo field on the report, to the left and top
3. Place a second memo on the band to the right of the
last memo.
4. Make the second align to the band and it only aligns to the right
and all the way up to the left memo. Not to the band itself.
E.G. all the way across the band

now look at what would happen if the memo to the left was small and auto sized
as the text gets larger the right memo will move in relation.
this also allows you to align the memos in a band to each other such that if you wanted to move all objects in the band to the right, then all you need to adjust is the left margin
if it was the old way then if they both had internal left align one would overwrite the other.
IMHO it is a good feature.
My only problem was when I would place a memo field on a band, in
order to get a grey background, such as in a header. If the text of the
header was autowidth and was aligned to be band-wide the memo I
would place on the band would disappear and I would lose where it went
because it's width went to 0. This would work either way, the shadow
memo field first would make the text memo disappear.
I guess the only way to work it is to put one above the other and then
make them both band-wide and then shift one over the other until they
line up.
If you were ever to add the ability to make a band, itself, have a frame
and a color this would not be a problem.

i see what your up against.
Or is it maybe fixed in 3.07?
Thanks
