Setting MSChart data source

Hi
I'm trying to use MSChartObject for the first time and I cannot get it connect to the data source. I'm using .NET 2017 4.1 and when I set Data source everything looks fine, but after clicking OK it goes away. Of course any Series of the chart does show data. How can I solve this?
