Does Fast Reports VCL 5 work with Delphi 10.x Starter?

I am apparently outside the upgrade window for my poor old Delphi XE Pro, and am considering either Delphi 10 Seattle/Berlin Starter or FreePascal/Lazarus.

Does anybody know if FastReports VCL 5 work with the Delphi Starter versions, or if something essential has been removed?
I only use UserDataSets for my reporting, with a small SQLite interface unit.

My problem is the other way round - I already have a pro licence for FR5 VCL, but as far as I can see, the Delphi Free Trials have the full feature set, so downloading and installing the Delphi trial and then installing FR5 won't prove whether FR5 will still work in the dumbed-down Starter Edition.
If I can't use FR5 with Delphi 10 Starter there's no point in wasting the money buying it.
