"Out of memory" problem on x64 machine?

edited 5:32PM in FastCube 2
Hi Oleg and others

I have posted this before, but can't seem to find my topic again. Here it goes:

I run out of memory on a x64 machine when trying to create a cube from a large dataset. Although I do understand that I may be using the fastcube components for a harder task than they were designed for, it still puzzles me that I run out of memory on a machine that has plenty of RAM. The process only uses about 3.5Gb when the error occurs. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? Assign a larger heap or alter memory management in some other way?

Best Regards
