Fastreport 5 and dot matrix

edited February 2016 in FastReport VCL 5
Hello,

I have one report designed good and prints out good pre-printed paper on laserjet printer, but when I switch to dot matrix (okidata microline 320) all alignments messes up, some up and some down on same pre-printed paper.

any idea what I need to fix or to do to fix this issue?

Thank you

Generally you should design a dot matrix report for dm printers or run the printer in graphics mode very slow
add the frxDMPExport to your project and read the Usermanual chapter on dotmatrix reports

What should i do to print a frx report using a dot matrix printer (Epson LX-300+ II)? This report was designed using Fastreport.Net Version 2017.1.17 and the preview is ok but the printout is so ugly. I tryed different fonts types, changing all and each printer parameters, updating the printer driver and nothing works.

    Thanks in advance

For FR.Net you should select export to text file option and then print exported report

Could you please tell me if there are some manual with detailed information about all the parameters/options i could use in this process?

I need to use PrinterCommands to change the font size and other stuff in order to match a preprinted form.

    Thanks in advance

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor.
