Where to start?

Hi,

I am new to making things in delphi and I have had previous experience in FastReports.NET but I have no idea where to start with the delphi version. How do I go about setting a database and just starting my own custom report. I've quickly gone through some of the guides and am finding them not helpful at all. Any help would be appreciated

open the main demo project look at the data module and look at the main form,
compile and run the main demo.
this should give you some ideas.
next try building the demo in the user manual.
