FieldAliases

edited 11:42AM in FastReport 3.0
Firstly. GREAT WEBSITE REDESIGN! (are you trying to overwhelm us?)

On another Note: I installed the new release and noticed my report that were
designed in the beta gave many errors (Field not found) . Upon further
investigations, I observed the original name and the user name for each
field in the frxDBDataset FieldAliases were different. For example if I had
a field named 'CustHomePhone' in my table, the FiledAliases would
automatically set the user name to 'Cust Home Phone' putting a space between
each common then capital character.

CustHomePhone=Cust Home Phone

Since most of my report were sitting waiting on the release to be
implemented, how can I get the user names for each field to be exactly the
original name without modifying all the hundreds of fields manually?

Best Regards
Kimo

    If you have edited the TfrxDBDataSet components (by double-clicking them), FR3.0 will automatically converts all fields names. If you just put the TfrxDBDataSet on the form and connect it to data, no aliases will used, only original field names.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
