Try something simpler, go further back to the basics: [IIF(true,'Test1','Test2')] and also [IIF(false,'Test1','Test2')] (I'm not sure if it requires markers around the true/false, so it might have to be [IIF(,'Test1','Test2')] If these …

Then it's definetly the way the connection is being opened. I don't use DBX, but isn't there settings available for the connection? pdynarowski wrote: » In ADO Components everything works fine. When I use DBX components in FastReports and I…

I'm sorry for the vague answer, but just in case nobody has a better one... I believe this is to do with the DB connection settings. I know your connection is not an ADO connection, but I had a similar problem ages ago and found answers reading th…

Your English is fine. But your problem doesn't seem to be related to FR at all. My theory is that any document sent from any app would make your printer to move the paper out so it can be ripped. I suppose at the end of any printing job the spool…

As far as I know, only delphi 2009 and higher support Unicode, so probably FR follows that. However, I have a fully Unicode app, written in delphi 2010, everything is fine (displaying Russian and Thai charcters), but nobody in our company knows how…

what exactly you want to display? Do you want to hide everything after the wordwrap, or make it display the whole text, with or without word wrapping? There is also the autosize property of the frxMemo you can play with.
-
The Band needs to stretch to acomodate the Memo new dimensions. Make the DetailBand.stretched := true (I'm in doubt if that is the right property, I'm trying to remember without looking at the code. Maybe is the Stretch := MaxHeight that you want)…

yes, you are. As I said, look at the tab, there is the function declaration there, with its required parameters
-
try using the ADOQuery2.GetFieldNames procedure and analise the results. They are part of TDataset and implemented in the frx editor, should be fine, take a look at the Classes tab in the right side of the frx editor, plenty of good stuff there.

What I do is to save the tchart bitmap contents to a file (.bmp), pass the filename as a variable to the report and load the bitmap contents into a tfrxImage in the report script, usually on the onbeforeprint event of the 1st page
-
My (wild) guess is that you are somehow destroying the printing options object, and recreating it on your code and that is putting it back to the default values. Try to reuse as many objects as you can (starting with the tfrxReport one).

The Developers Manual, page 43, section Custom Functions Connection to Report

Yes, you can call a function defined in your Delphi unit. Put this before any call to Show or Prepare: frxReport1.OnUserFunction := CustomReportFunction; frxReport1.AddFunction('function SetDocImgRef(const s: string) :string;', 'MyFuncs'); &…

Look at my answer for this post: http://www.fast-report.com/en/forum/index....amp;#entry19158

There's a subfolder named 'Resources' in your FR folder, and txt file with instructions on it.
-
Still, what you need is to control if the page is printed or not, and this is how it's done: Page1.OnBeforePrint(sender); begin page1.visible := yourcondition. This can be a function call, back to your Delphi code or FRscript. Read the manual f…

OnBeforePrint of each page: page1.visible := (UserVariable = 'user1') or (UserVariable = 'user2') Check how to pass values to variables in the manual or in the other threads of the forum here

What exactly do you want to count?

I always thought it was not possible to install 3rd party components in Turbo Delphi, how did you do it?
-
It does all that, just download the demo version (fully working with some minimal limitations)

Agreed, remove that Stretched = true, and any alignments. Well, better yet: delete your existing object in the designer, and put a new one, using the same name, without changing any property whatsoever
-
you have it in the wrong order: first you load it, then you set the width! Try this: logo := frxLayout.FindObject('Logo') as TfrxPictureView; logo.AutoSize := False; logo.Stretched := True; logo.Picture.LoadFromFile(sfilename)); logo.Top := logo_…

If you give your memos the name structure, like 'memo1','memo2','memo3', etc, you can do something like this: (if you need for more than 1 band, you will have to change your code accordingly) var   lMemoX : TFrxMemoView; i : integer; lSearchNa…

I don't use encryption in FR, but if I had to, I would use my own function for this. You can find lots of open source encryption functions in public libraries, I would assume the Jedi components have something. So, instead of simply saving your fil…

In your memoview.text, where you have something like '[]', merge the contents of your memoview objects in one: 'Dear [] and []'
-
When I need to merge 2 different reports, I actually copy the TfrxReportPage objects from one report into another, in code. Something like this:       for i := 0 to fChildReport.PagesCount - 1 do       begin         // get a h…

You probably forgot to set your Masterdata1.Stretch := true

I already had Update 4 and 5 Installed (automatically maybe?). Thanks gord
