Wait for 3.04, I've added some events.
-
Probably I answer too late. Go the FR3 designer, View|Options, and turn on the "Free bands placement" check. Now open converted fr3 file and save it.
-
You can use FR3 with any TDataset-descendant. However if you want to use FF in the end-user reports, you need FF engine for FR3. As far as I know there is no such engine yet (but you may try to create it yourself - read the developer manual and use …
-
What is your FR3 version - std, basic, pro?
-
Did you read install.txt file? It contains step-by-step recompile instructions.
-
Yes, it's possible.
-
Use TfrxDesigner.CloseQuery property.
-
You should probably set the Stretched property of Rich and its band, also AllowSplit for the band.
-
I've played with 2.fr3 (from main demo) and it works well for multicolumn report.
-
In any case the report will print all data on Page1, then all data on Page2. If you set the Report.DataSet property, the report will be repeated N times (N = number of records in Report.DataSet).

added in 3.04.

1) will be added in 3.04 2) fixed.

frxChart.pas: FChart := TChart.Create(Self); with FChart do begin Color := clWhite; BevelInner := bvNone; BevelOuter := bvNone; Name := 'Chart'; Frame.Visible := False; View3DOptions.Rotation := 0; // add this Title.Text.Text := ''; en…

If you try to convert True to integer, you'll get -1. FR does the same. Just do: [ABS(,MasterData1,1)>)]

var lTempView: TfrxMemoView; begin lTempView := TfrxMemoView.Create(nil); lTempView.Memo.Text:= 'OOOOOOOOOOOOO'; Caption := FloatToStr(lTempView.CalcHeight) + ' ' + FloatToStr(lTempView.CalcWidth); end works well. One note: to calculate h…
-
To calc the width and height of the memo, use TfrxMemoView.CalcWidth and CalcHeight methods.
-
TfrxMemoView(Sender).Text := ...
-
If you want to do the conditional summing, use the scripts and calculate the sum yourself.
-
Use TfrxPreview.Print instead of TfrxReport.Print.
-
Look for FR bpls in the windows\system32 and delphi\projects\bpl.
-
You should include the TfrxCheckBoxObject into your application.
-
I can'r reproduce this. Do you have step-by-step instructions?
-
You can't create new variables in code, like it was in FR2.x. DayVar should be declared.
-
bpls should be in the windows\system32.
-
1) Probably you have set the TfrxReport.DataSet property? In this case the report will be repeated N times. 2) where did you read about this button, I can't found it in the documentation. 3) just do the full install if you are not sure. There …
-
No, it can't.
-
Please send me an example of this report.
-
We don't have any ideas except that Word2k is buggy (it can't open rtf that can be opened in Word95, Word97, WordXP, wordpad).
-
I post the calendar report to the newsgroups, fast-reports.public.binaries group. Open it in the demos\main demo.

My developer's machine is Win98se. I never see any freezes. Probably you should compile your app on Win98 machine too.
