RichView wysiwyg property

Hi,

Is there any reason why having wysiwyg property turned off for a RichView component is a bad idea?

We are having an issue with text dissappearing off the bottom of the rich view? when? the? printer? is? changed,? and? turning? off? wysiwyg? seems? to? fix? it.

It seems that the printer canvas changes how the rich view text is rendered, and then the size of the the rich view? is then too small.

Thanks,
Erik.

Ok, after some testing I have found that it? is? a bad idea as the text looks horrible. ? All the spacing is all screwed up.

I have tried setting the printer before it prepares the report, but it doesn't seem to work. ? The size of the rich text seems to be set according to the 'default' printer? canvas? rendering rather than what? the? printer? was? set? to? before? it? was? prepared.

I just did another test, and set my default printer to the one that the report is printing on, and it all works fine.

But there does seem to be a bug that the first time the report is rendered, that it takes the default printer to render the richview, until it 'actually' prints to that printer, and then all works for the next render.

    Regards,
    Erik.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
