Unicode in PDF export

Hi,

I am busy evaluating the demo version of FR3.2, and I am currently testing the Unicode PDF export functionality.

If I export Unicode text (Arabic, Chinese, etc.) to html it displays correctly, but when exporting to PDF it exports as question marks.

Am I doing something wrong? ;)

Thanks,
Pierre le Riche

    Check Font's CharSet. "DefaultCharaset"

    Hi civilian,

Thank you for the response. The Font's character set is set to DEFAULT_CHARSET. The report previews correctly and it exports correctly to html, jpg, etc. It is only the PDF export that corrupts the Unicode text.

Either there is something wrong with my PDF settings, or there is a bug in FR3.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Pierre

    Hello Pierre,

I suggest that you create a ticket with your support problem.
On the main page: Support --> Submit question.
In the past I have entered a few tickets and that seems to work with the support from FastReport.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
