PDF export

edited January 2005 in FastReport 3.0
If you export to pdf and 'stretch' of a component is off, in the pdf you will see more lines, not stretched but it overwrites lines under it.

Test it by placing a memo on a band, make it small, put a large amount of text in it and export to pdf....

IMHO this is a gigo problem if a control is not set properly to begin with you can't expect the exporter to Know what to do.
There is also something to beware of when working with stretched memos in a band. ie band contains 2 memos one placed under the other
    memo1
    memo2
if memo1 is stretched, then memo2 must be placed in a child band belonging to
    memo1's band.

I don't understand your answer. How should I correctly set it up: here is the example:

    - place a memo, with text 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbccccccddddd'
    - set its with to 2 cm
    - Stretchmode: smDontStretch

    preview: all is well
    export pdf: wrong

What did I not set up correctly?

hope you respond another time gork as you told me that I did not set up correctly. I wrote allready that I don't understand why, gave you the example and hope you explain me how, as it for me still has the status of a bug.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
