GS1 smallest bar mimimal width (how to check)

Hello Community,

How do you guys test whether the report you generate is according to GS1 standard or at least the sizing metric?

Is there a way to ensure the barcode follows the rules when coding/setting it up?

    1. There are online barcode validators available. You can generate an image of your barcode (e.g., by exporting the report to PDF or an image file) and upload it to websites like Online Barcode Validator. They will analyze the image and verify if the proportions are correct.
    2. The most reliable method is to print the report and scan it with a standard handheld barcode scanner. If it scans instantly from various angles, the sizing metrics are correct.
    3. Zoom into the PDF and measure the width of the narrow and wide bars. Their ratio should be exact (e.g., 2:1, 3:1, etc.).

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
