FastReport crashes my asp server

edited June 2020 in FastReport .NET

Hi,

I have some reports which works fine but with 2 others (which runs fine in local server under visual studio) when uploaded on my asp server, the reports "turn around" and finally crash the server ! I need to reboot the server; these reports are very "complicated" with more +/- 20 ms sql tables, filters and sorts used, .... it seems that fastreport uses too many resources without freeing them.

As base, I use the supply demo WebSite with my report of course.

Any idea how can I solve that or find a right way to fix that ?

thanks in advance,

Domi.

  • No answer like usual; fastreport is a really shit with poor support; reports (the web version) are very slow and they systematically crash the server with "memory overflow" we need to restart the server each time (and this is randomized, not always with the same report) although it a simple report with only 3 tables !! we definitely abandon this app to switch to something more "robust"

  • Hi, I hope to help you, try using webReport1.CacheDelay = 5;
