Query Wizard Questions from newbie

I open the query wizard and put in a fairly complex query that has many joins and has been developed somewhere else. The query works when I run it latter in FastReport to see the data.

I pass by the parameters screen and end up at define columns. It has no columns in it.

The query has data. Do i have to enter these columns manually? This seems like an enormous waste of time.

Solved. I figured that since I was defining the query manually I did not need to add the tables in screen that asks for the tables you want in the query. Once I did this it was ok.

very good, learning something new takes time, be patient.

    there are 2 options:
    1. pull data from fastreport, you already learned that
    2. push data to fastreport, you will love this approach
