dot matrix Condensed

edited 11:59PM in FastReport 3.0
I use Delphi 5 SP1 and FastReport V3 BETA

I want to use FontSettings when I prepare DotMatrix reports.
bold, italic, underline work for me.
but Condensed, wide, 12 cpi, 15 cpi don't work..

I want to print condensed some lines.
what sould I do?
how can I change this settings to Condensed.

    What printer do you use? What ESC model do you use when printing to this printer?

    I opened "\FastReport 3\Demos\Main\FRDemo.DPR" and compiled this demo.
    I selected CustomerList in DotMatrix Reports (80.FR3).
    Then pressed Design button, so I changed some properties.
    DPMMEmo2.FontStyle.fsxCondensed -> True
    DPMMEmo7.FontStyle.fsx15cpi -> True
    DPMMEmo8.FontStyle.fsxBold -> True
    DPMMEmo8.FontStyle.fsxItalic -> True
    when I print, all coloums(Memos) are looking same.
    I tried with Fujitsu DL 3400 and OKI MikroLine 3320

    You should select appropriate ESC model for these printers. Available models are: Epson Generic, HP Generic, IBM Generic.

    Have the same problem. I am using OKI ML 391/395. The reason for trying FR is the new dotmatrix-feature.

    What is an EPSON generic printer? I tried Epson compatible 24pins, but all columns were printed with the same (very fast, btw) layout.

    System ist windows2003 SBS/Delphi 7.

    AFAIK Oki is IBM-compatible.

    Aih,

    hm, I set my Printer to IBM Emulation: no success
    I set it back to Epson Emulation, renamed the printer to "Epson Generic" and copied the file 'printers.xml' into the directory where the exe is: no change.

    what am I doing wrong?

    I was having this kind of problem by the time of the first release.

    After 3.01, everything started to work fine. Now I can successfully use normal, condensed and wide fonts on any report without any problem.

    I am using an Epson FX-1170 with Epson codes.

    Maybe your printer Epson emulation isn't "understanding" the Epson ESC codes correctly? Maybe you need to contact the OKI support on the emulation subject.

    Have you tried with an Epson printer?

    I've found the problem: in the print-dialog the setting fpr ESCAPE-commands were "none". I selected "EPSON Generic", now, in a first view, everything works fine....

    If you have the preview you can got to the print-icon, then the print-dialoq appears. The ESC-Option is only shown when the report is a dpm-report and you inserted the frxdotmatrixexport-component beside the frxReport-component.

    Thanks, the Esc-Option appear now and it was "none".
    I had changed it to Epson Emulation, copy "printers.xml" to .exe directory but the preview still can't display condensed.

    What should I do ?

    I try the Fast Report Demo for fish list (81.fr3), in preview, it's Description can't display condensed.

    TIA,
    Pemula
