create POS reciept from fastreports

edited 9:39AM in FastReport 4.0
Greetings,

I am building a simple POS application. Is the process of creating a receipt report same as creating any other report in fast reports?

If not can someone please point me in the right direction?

regards,
Skota

Basically yes, if you have a Windows driver for the printer. However, using or managing fonts can be tricky to say the least. Half the time it just doesn't seem to work, i.e a font change in the report makes no difference in the actual printout. Quite frustrating.
The paper cut and till drawer opening depends on the printer's capabilities.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
