Fast Report 3.0 Optimization???

edited 2:57AM in FastReport 3.0
I've downloaded the trial version of Fast Report 3.0. And I'm very impressed. But I have a problem - It works very very slow. What I liked about previous verisions of Fast Report was their speed. But they couldn't apply all my needs. Fast Report 3.0 can! That's why I'm asking:

Will Fast Report 3.0 be optimized - will it work faster??

My other question is: Is there any way to make the richView in Fast report 2.5x show the text justified.

Answering any of theese two questoins with 'YES' may make me to buy the product .

Best Regards,
Alexandra

FR3 works as fast as possible. I've made some optimizations in the latest alpha (to open the designer faster). What exactly is working slow on your PC?
RichText in FR3 can be justified.

May be I didn't express myself corectly. Slow is realy not the most appropriate word. It is just that when I scroll up and down the text starts to smudje very much (and I even did not tried with pictures where I supose this effect will be even worse). No offence, but I think the right word for this is ugly.
I got to say that I've tried a lot of other report tools and liked FR the most just because the effect I'm tolking about was missing in previous varsions. But with FR 2.5x I had the problem that rich text can not be justified.

It is in the designer, or in the preview?

    On the preview.

You can choose two modes for the preview: double-buffered (no flickers, but slower) and normal (some flickering may occur, but faster). Use TfrxReport.PreviewOptions.DoubleBuffered.

I've tried both way(doublebuffered = True and doublebuffered = False). Nothing helps.
I can send you an example screenshot to see exactly what I mean, if you give me an e-mail to send to.

    I've send two screenshots.

I have another problem. When I use a TfrxPreview. I can only scroll by dragging or with the scrollbar, but not with the scroller. Is that fixable.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
