custom number of cells in table

Hi!
I have a data source, each entry of which contains a custom number of sub-entries.
For example, each row is a student, and each student has a custom amount of data concerning him.
I want to generate a report like this:

Student 1
name: Dan
id: 12345
city: NY
hobby: swimming

Student 2
name: Dana
id: 56789

Student 3
....

(The example above shows that I may not have all the data about each student.
Also, I don't know the maximum amount of sub-entries about each student).

How can I define such a table?
Now I created a table with a lot of rows (above an assumed maximum amount of sub-entries), and I get a lot of blank rows in the middle of the report,
for each missing sub-entry.
Is there a better solution (something like a highlight condition, but for an entire table row, that will make
the report not to draw a row if it is empty)?

Thanks a lot! >
