hello please help me change the text in the box. I have a memo25 field in which I would like to be able to change the already entered text to another one. I'm not a programmer and I don't know anything about it, I need to do something like this once. I am asking for a ready solution

Print rows where a quanity field is zero

Good afternoon,
I have a masterdata with materials with columns like code description and quantity. I make a calculation to the quantity field and as result i receive zero values to some of them.
I want when i print the form to receive as a result only the columns that the quantity is greater than zero.
Can someone give me a help.

I would like to suggest to all major component vendors and those who make products with Delphi to purchase "Delphi" from Idera and do not, repeat do not make it open source but keep it commercially supported (capitalism). The component vendors and product developers love Delphi and we need someone to Buy Delphi who both loves it and works with it. If Delphi dies, at least it will die with its loved ones.

Here is a list of component vendors I will be posting a message to their forum.

My opinion below.

I think FR should charge more for their product and/or charge a yearly maintenance fee. The reason is that I have noticed companies like DevExpress and Eldos charge a high price BUT they have outstanding support. FR support is not good. I suspect FR is not priced high enough to provide support.

I am not one of those people who wants things for free, I want to put money in my vendors pockets so they continue to deliver great products and support.

We have update customers' web-panel. We hope it became more easy to use, you can tune it (select which IDE you use, which files you want to see for downloading, etc.), and now it is available on 4 languages (and 3 more will add very soon.

I am using competitor Report Builder, but have some question before jumping to FastReport, like importation

at first I would like to thank you for the work, that you are performing for this forum. I also work in the team of a big forum and therefore know, that it is quite a lot of work, that everybody is doing in his spare time.

But I have a question or concern with respect to the registration process. I entered my data actually four times. My name was indicated in the members list with the status "validating" and I received the information, that the administrator would like to validate every person individually. That is ok, but my name was removed after a few hours or after 2 days without any hint why this had happened. When I checked the members list I saw that also other users tried to become a member, where most of the names I saw have already been deleted. My question is: what exactly are the critereons used to decide whether a user becomes a member and if it is decided against a membership why is there no email that provides a reason?

I think the more people become members the higher is the chance that the forum growth also in the number of threads and with that the amount of information available for other Fastreport users.

Alex I have been reading this news group and forum quite frequently since
August 31st and the posts have dramatically increased since the latest
release. They can even get rather repetitious and confusing especially in
this early stage of FR3.

Would it be good to have a critical bug list of the bugs that you have
confirmed posted here or on website or in forum to indicate to all user the
critical bugs that are awaiting fixes. This will prevent 50 users finding
the same bug and creating a new posts each time, thus giving users a more
streamlined and orderly approach in finding solutions to there problems and
reducing your workload. So when a user is there infront of his or her Delphi
box and something goes wrong, (suspect bug) the first place to look would be
that bug list. This buglist may even have workarounds for users to use until
fix is available.
